Clean
Energy Local
Clean Energy Local website interface re-design was a fun and innovating project that I could be part of.
The awesome Clean Energy Local team gave me the opportunity to help them with a website redesign. Clean Energy Local connects people to local (NY) clean energy products and services such as home energy, transportation, sustainable shopping and food.
The website was not really connecting with their branding and was lacking readability in some areas, as well as having sections too close to each other and outdated design styles that could make users struggle to engage effectively.
Another rewarding project where my contributions improved the aesthetic appeal and enhanced the website's effectiveness and, I got learn about a market that didn't have the opportunity to participate before.
Enhanced User Engagement
By improving the Clean Energy Local website layout and overtall aesthetics. The new website is now more appealing and will encourage users to explore the site further.
Accesibility Improvements
Redesigining the interface with accesibility in mind by; implementing proper heading structure, using adecuate color contrast (AA WCAG), responsive design and, legible font sizes.
Conversion Rate Increase
A cluttered or confusing interface can lead to high bounce rates and low conversion rates. Thanks to the new website design, the conversion rate increased 15%.
